We have added new documents related to the initial abortive attempt at a settlement in the West Paces suit that involved transferring Shell Toomer Parkway to the city of Auburn. Also we added the appellant's response in the CPSTP suit.
Protest Art Spports Parkway In an innovative approach using art to bring attention to community issues, students in Professor Debora Myles' Drawing 2 Classes have begun a new project that addresses the impact of commercial development along Shell Toomer Parkway. Shell Toomer Parkway is the entrance to Chewacla State Park and is often described as one of Alabama's most scenic roadways.
Artists for Parkway at May 6 Council Meeting We'd like to ask folks to come to the May 6th City Council meeting to see Debora Myles's students' protest artwork and express their opinions regarding Shell-Toomer Parkway. Those students that want to speak will speak as young citizens during the Citizens' Communication portion of the Council meeting.
